• While Abigail and Charles were chatting and drinking happily, Rebecca came to them and asked, “Abi, can I have some time with you?” Her tone was cold, and her expression was unreadable. She glanced at Charles nonchalantly before looking back at Abigail again.
• Abigail didn’t want to leave him alone. She looked at him and then moved her eyes to Rebecca. She parted her lips to say something, but before that, Charles said, “Go. Don’t worry about me.”
• Abigail turned her head to look back at him and asked, “Are you sure?”
