Chapter 98
- Amara Nicholas:
- Darlington and I went downstairs to leave the house as we were done dressing up. We met Mrs. Ifeoma in the living room with Samara. It was Tuesday morning, and though Darlington was supposed to leave for his office, he looked rather excited to be moving out of his father's house with me, while Mrs. Ifeoma and Samara both frowned.
- "Good morning, Ma," I greeted Mrs. Ifeoma, who managed to respond, then she quickly spoke to her son, "Darlington. Why not have breakfast with us before leaving the house? I'm not happy that you're leaving."
