Chapter 22

• Amara Nicholas:
• I woke up in the sumptuous bedroom, thinking that Darlington had slept on the bed with me. I saw when he returned back the previous night to his room and took his phone. Well, I fell asleep on the bed and drifted off to sleep, ensuring to create a space on the bed between us, just in case Darlington returned to the room again to sleep.
• I awoke and found out that I was alone in the room, with the sound of my phone ringing on the shelf. I glanced at where I had kept my phone the previous night, took it, and saw my father actually phoning me.
