- Amara's POV
- I exited the top floor and walked downstairs to the living room, where I saw Mrs. Ifeoma and her daughter discussing on the couch. I knew I couldn't just walk past them and leave the house, so I stopped and decided to inform them that I was going out for shopping.
- "Good evening, Ma. I want to go out shopping and to meet with someone," I said to Mrs. Ifeoma Briggs, but she didn't even look at me as she continued pressing her phone with her legs resting upon the relaxation stool in front of her.
