• Chapter 21:
• In the rural outskirts of Los Angelos, California, Travis was assisting his uncle in loading firewood onto the back of a cargo truck. The labor was making it difficult for him to catch his breath, but he didn't mind. He had grown up accustomed to this lifestyle, as the family farmhouse had often served as his second home.
• Travis exhaled, plugged his earpiece into his ears, and started making his way back to the farmhouse. Meanwhile, his uncle had driven off in the truck to deliver the firewood they had collected from the forest.
