Chapter seventeen:
"Suspension!" Courtney's voice echoed disbelief as she paced back and forth in the living room. The board's decision regarding her recent controversy felt like a punch to the gut. She couldn't fathom being suspended, especially over something so personal.
Alexander's words rang in her ears, further fueling her distress: "The business world is a social family, not people related by blood. We cannot allow family bonds to interfere with our corporate team's progress. The Williams family and the WEB business network are two separate entities, and what is a Williams problem should not be WEB's problem."
