• The next day, Becca found herself filled with worry as she searched for Courtney, unable to reach her since the pre-production party. Becca's mind was flooded with countless grim scenarios, imagining that something terrible may have befallen Courtney.
• Despite trying to dispel these dreadful thoughts, they persisted as Becca paced the corridor. She paused, deciding to try Courtney's number once again. Her previous attempts had all been futile, and she desperately hoped that this time the call would connect. However, she was met with the automated message informing her that the phone was switched off.
