Chapter 53 Hunters In The Forest

  • The moonlight timidly penetrated through the dense canopy of the trees, casting dancing shadows in the forest. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and dense foliage, while the sound of leaves crunching under hurried steps broke the silence of the night. Lisa and her uncles advanced relentlessly, their eyes shining with fierce determination. They were wolf hunters, and tonight, the hunt would be different.
  • The lone wolves, a small group of three, were frightened. Their breathing was audible, their hearts beating frenetically. They sensed the imminent danger, but something in their minds, a spark of awareness, made them run and hide. One of them, either braver or more desperate, tried to defend itself, growling at the hunters who wielded silver bullets and arrows tipped with the same deadly metal.
  • Suddenly, a snap. One of the wolves fell into a trap hidden beneath the foliage. Its cries of pain echoed through the forest, a sound that chilled the bones of the other two. They hesitated, but not for long. This was where the real battle began.
