Chapter 44 Transformation

• Luna was very nervous. In her room, she tried to clear her head, thinking about what she had discovered and how to defeat that witch. At that moment, Luna had no idea if that was her true form, since in her other vision, she had seen characteristics from a very different time. In other words, that woman was older than everyone imagined. And she had no idea if it was possible to maintain youth for so long. Nervous, she paced back and forth in her room. She prayed her parents wouldn't come in and knock on the door, as she would have to explain why she was so anxious. As if all that wasn't enough, her uncles were about to arrive. They were very different—reserved, yet very affectionate and curious. So, having so many people in the house during such a tumultuous period in her life would be very difficult. How could she hide all this from them?
• So, she stopped, decided to sit on the floor, the carpet quite warm, comfortably. She crossed her legs and closed her eyes, trying to connect with someone from the other side. It had been so long since they last appeared.
• "You can do this," she told herself, forcing her brain to think. She didn't see it, but her efforts, mixed with turmoil, caused things inside her room and outside it to come to life. First, the lights started flickering. Then, some objects began to move slowly, as if they were about to fall. The wind battered her windows with great force. And finally, a single tremor made her open her eyes and realize what was happening around her. Luna was very scared. Even though she knew she had great power and didn't exactly need a teacher, she didn't know how to control it, didn't know how to use it. Opening that door had been a surprise. Then, everything happened so naturally. So why, when she wanted to use her witch power and tried so hard that she even forgot about reality, did it begin to awaken in such a brutal way?
