Chapter 41 Rumors

When it was dinner time, Evelyn made tons of dishes, and each of them tasted delicious. Hence, Katherine couldn't help but stuff herself with food, and she was full after dinner. However, before she had the chance to digest it, Leila brought a bowl of chicken soup for her. When she saw the soup, she refused to eat it since it reminded her of Joyce.
Seeing that she refused to eat it, Leila looked at her worriedly. "You are too skinny, Miss Katherine. You look like you can easily be snapped into two. It's not normal for a pregnant woman to be this skinny, so you must eat this to strengthen your body. I won't force you if you insist, though. Although I might not be able to sleep soundly because I will be worried sick about you, I will never force you to do anything you dislike!"
Hearing her words, Katherine didn't know how to respond since she knew Leila was taking advantage of her. Still, she felt that if she kept refusing, she would be a criminal!
