Chapter 190 Life With Him
- Ryan had torn the bottom half of my dress, leaving it mid-thigh. On our way back, I had seen a club and pointed. Ryan had waited for his Mexican team and they had given a green light.
- I walked barefoot, damp, and dripping, droplets still falling from my hair. That still hadn’t stopped me from dancing my ass off in the midst of everyone, the music pumping me like a drug. Arms in the air, dancing my heart out. My husband watched me a foot away, barefoot, guards around us. It felt like only he and I existed in the world, eyes on him as I danced for him. I watched myself become the sole star in his universe, watched him cling to me with his eyes like the moon to the earth. He just stood and watched for some time before his arms sat on my waist. We danced together for what seemed like eternity, and I could have gone on for centuries. Skin sandy and salty, eyes burning red but none of that mattered. I wasn’t Neria, the thick, reserved girl. I was his little fairy, wild and tamed by him. I danced my heart out, not knowing clubbing was that fun, jumping up and down, swaying my hips, and shaking my body in ways I never thought were possible. I was drunk on him and excited.
- We danced probably for forty minutes before it was time to go. The guards made way for us to leave, the cars already outside the club, running and waiting for us. I was quickly nudged into the car, Ryan following behind. The cars drove off so quickly, speeding through the streets as I sat back, out of breath, swaying with each turn we took.
