Chapter 120 Disappointment

• The best I could do was Hendrix’s large blazer and put a belt mid waist. It did not take away that I was wearing an oversized blazer which was clearly not mine. Luckily, I had carried a pair of heels when I packed from home.
• The situation felt like throwing myself on a spike as I walked into the restaurant. It was fully closed with just our table. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, talking, laughing, and drinking. Ryan was the life of the party as always. They even managed to get another cake, the one I ordered sitting in the fridge.
• I was a black cloud and felt as if I would spoil the night even more. Hendrix did not deserve this. His birthday should have been perfect, his party should have been exactly as he would have liked it, at home, intimate, with his close friends as Ryan wanted but I ruined it.
