Chapter 124 Deepest Secret

• A loud blurring sound fought it’s way through my thick blanket of sleep. I ignored it as best as I could but at a point I felt the blanket break through with me slipping back to consciousness.
• A groan escaped from somewhere then there was movement which further woke me up. I blinked the sleep away, haziness over my eyes having everything blurry. The first thing I noticed was the toasty warm environment, and that delicious scent. Then I felt the warm skin on my face. I was plastered to Hendrix’s neck, my nose literally digging into him. He moved, pulling away from me and nearly had me groan out loud in protest. My fingers dug into him, holding on.
• Hendrix shifted back in place and I nestled myself back into my position. I caught on the last ring that a phone was ringing.
