• I checked the time and quickly summed up the conversation so I could go see my husband. It was five minutes to two and I would only have twenty minutes before he left. He would be flying to a different city and surely he was not going to sleep at home. I was worried and I missed him. Was it normal to always want to see your partner?
• “Thank you,” were my last words, already standing up.
• I had known my first day in the office would be busy but I didn’t think it would be that busy. We were mostly looking at how to structure the charities. It was exciting and the work left me with this warm feeling in my chest knowing so many people’s lives would be enriched. Not only would it benefit the children and those in need but also the thousands of people we would hire in different countries.
