Chapter 93 Epilogue

• A month later, Mariah fed the spring water to her children. Alaric shall be there anytime soon to take them home. Within the month, their soft scales weren’t so soft anymore, and their colors had become more pronounced. Both her children had white hair like Alaric, and even if it was too soon to tell, she could already see that their son was a spitting image of Alaric, and she could tell just by holding him that he would be a lot stronger than his father. She could see traces of herself in her daughter, but it was already clear to her that she would make men fall at her feet with her beauty. With her white hair and blue eyes, she looked like an angelic being. If Mariah were honest, she was actually scared of how beautiful she would be when she grew up.
• Soon, she heard the flapping of wings and turned to see Alaric entering. He didn’t change and just told her in her mind to climb on. Since making each other, she could now hear Alaric’s thoughts in his dragon form, and it made conversing a lot easier for them when he was in that form. Carrying her children in both hands, Mariah walked up to her husband, climbed onto his wing, and he gently carried them to his back. After confirming if they were okay, Alaric spread his wings and, with a loud screech, left the cave.
• Mariah closed her eyes and heaved a deep sigh as the waterfall fell on her. She came pregnant four months ago, now she was leaving with her children. During her stay there, the animals were nothing but loving, and sometimes she would wake up to fruits lying in front of her. Indeed, the place deserved to be treasured by the dragons. She would not be able to visit again unless she carried another egg. It was a place that a dragon who is not a mother can never visit. She turned and stared at the island as it grew little and little until it was out of view. She stared at her babies in her arms and chuckled. Life as a dragon mate was indeed amazing.
