Chapter 33 Armored Bodies

• Aliyah turned at the mention of the name and jumped on her feet when she saw the young lady. “Mariah,” she called in relief and rushed her, grabbing her hand and pulling her into her arms. “Oh Goddess, I am so glad that you are safe.”
• “Mom,” Mariah choked and the tears started pouring. It has been a kind of a messed-up night. The day had started great with Alaric waking up and apologizing to her. Then they had conversed like never before, she just never expected for so much to happen in one day. She was both mentally and physically tired and now being in her mother’s embrace, she just wanted to cry her eyes out.
• “Oh my dear, it’s alright now, you are safe.” Aliyah said just as Irene and Noah approached them. Aliyah let go of Mariah to wipe away Mariah’s tears. “Your father and brother have been looking for you.”
