Chapter 9 - A New Beginning

• “Sir, she has been discharged and sent to the confinement center to recover,” the head of the hospital said as he reached the top floor, where his office was, to inform the man who had his back turned to him.
• “Good. Make sure everyone understands and remembers that the child did not survive,” Carlos turned to give him a look, and the doctor instantly nodded.
• “They have signed the NDA, and there will be no record of any baby being born alive today in our hospital,” the doctor reassured Carlos that he would never betray him or get on his bad side.
