Chapter 32 I'll Be Your Dog

• Lawson walked to the training room that afternoon. He felt so recovered that he was looking forward to moving his body after two days of rest where he wasn't bothered. And in that place that was a novelty.
• He hadn't seen Raven all day, by his schedule he must have been overseeing palace security matters, or perhaps ignoring him. Maybe it was the latter. The atmosphere between them now was heavier than before. At first there was only the lust for revenge, a raw and animalistic revenge that blinded him, not letting him see the true chaos of it all.
• At this point he didn't know what to do. Raven's statement echoed so many times in his head that after he had left the room leaving her he had barely slept a wink in the days that followed. He remembered when he had seen her naked body under the water of the shower, all full of wounds, many of them he imagined had been caused by those men who had defiled her body. Just thinking about it filled her chest with fury and her fangs increased in size. She had to concentrate not to snarl in the middle of a crowded hallway.
