Chapter 21 Newly Arrived

• Raven looked around at his entire platoon in front of the entrance. The old members were the ones she was least concerned about now. She knew they were well trained and the consequences of not being presentable, many had learned the hard way, plus their captain had done a good job.
• On the other hand she had some new wolves that she knew could give her a good headache. He examined them one by one correcting both their positions and telling him some misplaced detail of their uniform. He was picky about both ability and image. This was the alpha's guard, for God's sake. They had to show the most elegance of the entire pack.
• After finishing the line from end to start, inspecting them thoroughly he stopped in front of Lawson who now that he was his supposed partner and would be at the head of the waiting line, next to him, a news that had taken everyone by surprise plus they hadn't commented on anything, it was orders from above. He went over it with his eyes up and down looking for every detail and gave his right leg a little tap with the toe of his heel so that he could set it three degrees further back. Now that she was under his supervision he kind of almost represented her.
