Chapter 26 Together In The Room

• Lawson felt the he didn't know what number blow fall on his body and he gritted his teeth so hard he thought they would shatter. His body hurt horribly and there was blood everywhere, from his face where he had received, at least, five pairs of fists shattering his nose, left cheek, and split his lower lip where blood kept pouring out, along with the blood pouring out of his nose. Even his hair was a mess, splattered with sweat and crimson stains that stuck to the back of his neck and cheek.
• His naked torso was no better either, covered in several open wounds from lashes, scratches and bites even some had ended up on his thighs tearing the fabric of the light sleep pants. Yet he had not spoken a single word since he had entered that cell. Nor had he turned to tear at the throats of those who beat him. The chains that held him restrained him were so tightly fastened to his wrists that if he turned his bones would be crushed in the process.
