Chapter 17 Something Is Not Right With The Story

• Lawson was sleeping soundly. It would be around 5:00 in the morning. He had had a hard time falling asleep with recent events and had no intention of getting up early, especially after being accepted as a new member. He was happy and ecstatic, a rest was well deserved and he would sleep until at least late morning, he didn't have to train so he could be lazy that day. He just didn't expect his intentions to be thwarted to the fullest when he was kicked hard. He rolled off the bed and fell on the floor, knocking the sleepiness out of him from the blow.
• “What the hell?" he sat up quickly, blinking and totally confused, looking from one side to the other, only to stumble upon the image of his mate, Raven at his side. Her demeanor was stiff and cold and her eyes were so icy that they looked at him with hatred.
• “You have three minutes to get dressed and be in the training room” she blurted out in a gravelly voice towards him, the typical command his body couldn't refuse and turned to leave without looking at him again “The rest keep sleeping” she said to the few who had woken up over her shoulder after the roar caused by her mate.
