- I stormed down the gravel path leading away from the pack offices, my footsteps quick and forceful. The echo of my words from earlier still buzzed in my ears. Stubborn, arrogant, impossible… a jerk. My hands clenched into fists at my sides as I replayed the encounter with Hades. My Mate.
- “Unbelievable,” I muttered under my breath, my frustration spilling into the open air. “Completely, utterly unbelievable. He thinks he can just decide for me—dismiss my choices like they don’t matter. Like I don’t matter.”
