• I watched Alpha Hades’s expression, his gaze unwavering, as if he was trying to convey something that I couldn’t quite grasp. His words—“Have you forgotten what I told you?”—echoed in my mind, but I struggled to make sense of them. My first thought was that he might be displeased with my work, but there was no sign of frustration in his eyes. Instead, there was a certain disappointment, and that only made me more uncertain.
• “Did I do something wrong in my duties, Alpha?” I asked, hoping for clarification. “If I missed something or didn’t meet your expectations, I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
