• Brohan reached the secured facility and saw her father with a few warriors in the lounge. He went ahead to see the chamber arranged for Yuri. It was his first time seeing the interior of the holding cell. The guards did not allow him to enter the chamber, so he had to see through the gaps. He scanned the small space. It had its toilet bowl and wash basin beside the steel single bed, which is permanently attached to the floor with a thin cotton mattress. Near the toilet lies a bucket and a small tumbler under a water tap; he figured it's for bathing. His gaze darted back to the door before him. The lower half of the front door was made of three-inch-thick solid metal, and the upper half was made of three-by-three-inch grills. There is no way any wolf can cut through that thick metal, let alone escape.
• He was pleased with the setup. This is a decent place for prisoners; most rogues are tied against the walls with silver cuffs and shackles, with no bed, no toilet, and no provision for bathing. While their prisoner can move freely inside, he must not complain, he thought. After scanning the surroundings, his gaze landed on their prisoner, who seemed amused by his appearance since he was still wearing the blood-stained shirt.
