• As they helped Lily into the car, she winced in pain, her face contorted in discomfort. Edward quickly got into the driver's seat, while Richard took the passenger seat. Edward put the car in gear and hit the accelerator, racing towards the hospital.
• But as they hit the evening traffic, Edward's speed had to slow down. Lily's screams of pain grew louder, and Richard turned around to try and comfort her. "Hang in there, Lily. We're almost there," he said, his voice soothing.
• But Edward's navigation skills were questionable, and Richard soon realized they were going the wrong way. "Edward, what are you doing? This isn't the way to the hospital!" Richard exclaimed, frustration creeping into his voice.
