Chapter 171

Lewis was consumed by restlessness, his mind racing with thoughts of Lily. Since she'd left, he hadn't called her or made any effort to meet up with her. Everything had happened so quickly that he hadn't had a chance to process his feelings or react. But now, his anxiety was growing, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that he needed to reach out to her.
In a sudden burst of determination, Lewis decided to visit Mia, hoping that she might know where Lily was. After all, Mia was Lily's closest friend, and Lewis trusted that she would have some insight into Lily's whereabouts.
With a sense of purpose, Lewis grabbed his car keys and headed out of the penthouse. He slid into the driver's seat, started the engine, and pulled out of the parking lot. As he navigated through the city streets, his mind wandered back to Lily, and he couldn't help but wonder what she was doing and whether she was thinking of him too.
