• Lily pressed the emergency stop button on the elevator panel, bringing it to a halt. She quickly assessed Mr. Hamilton's condition and then pressed the lobby button to head back down. "Sir, can you hear me?" she said, addressing Mr. Hamilton. She loosened his tie, carefully removing it from around his neck, and then unbuttoned his jacket and shirt to give him some comfort.
• "Sir, stay with me. We're going to get you to the hospital," she said, trying to keep her voice calm and reassuring. She continued talking to him, attempting to keep him conscious. "You're going to be okay, sir. Just hang in there."
• As the elevator doors finally opened on the lobby floor, Lily's eyes met those of Mr. Hamilton's assistant, who was standing nearby. His eyes widened in alarm as he took in the scene before him—Mr. Hamilton lying on the floor, his shirt unbuttoned.
