Chapter 92
- "I should be the one apologizing for my son's atrocious behavior, not you. I raised Xavier to be a devoted man to whoever he chose to mate with, and now I find myself reflecting on all the values I instilled in him," Ms. Kate said, walking slowly into the house, her posture rigid and tense.
- Dahlia mirrored her composure, straightening her back as she followed Ms. Kate into the manor. "Did he come here?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.
- Ms. Kate took a deep breath, one long and heavy enough to send a pang of anxiety coursing through Dahlia. Turning to face her, she replied, "No, but I would suggest giving him some time. He insists that he's trying to make things right."
