Typically, a search for a missing person doesn't begin until after forty-eight hours, but given that he's the Beta of the pack, they'll commence their efforts more quickly. By the time they start connecting the dots, you will already be in the zone, and they won't be able to reach you," he paused, taking a deep breath.
