Lily had been incessantly prattling on for nearly ten minutes, taunting her about her desires, chattering endlessly about the world above them, and rambling on about how much enjoyment they would both experience if only Dahlia would allow her to complete the marking.
• In a few self-congratulatory moments, Lily extolled her own beauty, claiming they would create stunning children together. Finally fed up, Dahlia snapped back, igniting an argument.
