- "It's getting better," Hessa said, lifting her leg over the dashboard and pulling down the cloth that concealed a massive bruise. "But it still looks pretty bad. Do you think it'll ever fade away?"
- Dahlia gasped in surprise and instinctively moved back a little. "Oh wow, that looks painful! What did you trip over? A mountain?"
- Hessa chuckled lightly. "No, I was running, and bam! I landed flat on my face, and my leg twisted over a branch. It was like something out of a horror movie—thankfully, no one was chasing me down." With that, she covered her leg again and rested it back down.
