Chapter 96

  • The last time I saw my father was when I was ten years old. He left me and my mother for another woman. When he left, my mother was devastated, but she stayed strong for me, at least until that day. That day that destroyed my life. On graduation day, my mother was supposed to be there, I wanted her to congratulate me, to hug me, but she wasn't there.
  • I was angry with her, so I went home with the diploma in my hand. When I entered the house, I found her lying on the floor with an empty medicine box in her hand. I called an ambulance, but it was too late. She was dead. I moved out three days after her funeral. I wanted to move on and start a new life. I still can't believe that the man in front of me is my father.
  • - Thomas? My son, is that you?
