• Chapter 2
• After showering, I throw myself on the soft bed, it feels so fucking good!
• Then I lie on my back and stare at the ceiling, thinking about those people, those people I trusted so much and who turned their backs on me.
• I trusted them. I gave them everything. I loved them.
• My "parents." My ex-fiancé. My "friends."
• But from now on, I only feel hatred for them.

• After breakfast, grandma suggests me to go shopping to distract me. So I get dressed up before leaving the house and run to the Ferrari that my grandmother lent me.

• I walk into a pretty good store. There was absolutely everything I needed, clothes, make-up, shoes, lingerie.... In other words, girl stuff! My basket was already full, it's time to check out!
• I head to the checkout and pay for my purchases before leaving and putting all my bags in the trunk of "my" car.

• I decide to go buy some food. I was really hungry, so I stop in front of a fast food restaurant.
• I order a burger and fries and wait patiently for my order to arrive.
• I hear laughter to my left and as I turn my head I see a beautiful couple, happy with their baby. I smile as I see them laughing. They were so happy.
• Suddenly I start thinking about Leo. I miss him so much despite the pain he has caused me. If only he had listened to me and believed in me, we would surely be laughing like this couple, surely we would be giving our baby lots of kisses, but alas, fate decided otherwise.
• *FLASHBACK*

• he shouted, pushing me violently against the wall.
• I groaned in pain as my back hit the wall, but Leo didn't seem to mind because as I fell to the floor he kicked me in the stomach. not in the stomach!

• "Are you alright ma'am?" the waiter asked me with a worried look on his face.
• It was only later that I realized that my tears had fallen.Shit!

• He sets my plate down and gives me one last smile, which I return, before turning on his heels.
• I can't help but smile at the sight of my burger and fries. I lick my lips before tasting this marvel. Oh my God, it's so good! I haven't eaten this in five years! Five years!
• I'm enjoying my burger when someone comes and sits down in front of me at MY table! I thought I was at home! I didn't even give him permission to sit down!
• I look up and choke on my burger. There's a bomb in front of me! A bomb! My God! Beautiful brown hair, green eyes, lips.... Fucking full lips! I also notice his muscles under his white shirt.
• He must have an athletic body!
• When she smiles at me, I notice her gorgeous dimples. She is a divine beauty.
• "Would you like a magnifying glass miss?"
• she asks me in a sensual voice
• "A magnifying glass? No, thank you." I replied as I continued to stare at that hottie in front of me.

• When I realized what I had just said, I blushed, turned redder than a tomato and looked away. I could see his smile out of the corner of my eye.

• "I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Andre Nelson. Nice to meet you."
• Andre Nelson?! I've heard that name somewhere before. But where?
• "Emily Scott. Nice to meet you, Mr. Nelson."
• He smiles at me and takes my hand gently. I flinch as he rests his lips on it-what the hell is he doing?

• I then look at my ring finger. I still had Leo's engagement ring, I never threw it away. I always wore it with me and I wonder if he still has his with him. Of course he doesn't. I'm such an idiot.

• I try hard not to let the tears fall and I think he's noticed because he strokes my cheek.

• I smile at him and finish my burger. I raise an eyebrow at his amused look.

• -Yes, you are. They usually only eat salad.
• -Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you but I don't really like salad.

• We talked for several minutes when his phone rings. He looks at it and blows into it.
• "I have to go Nice to meet you, miss.
• -Same here."
• He grabs my hand and blows me a kiss before walking away. He has brought a smile to my face in a matter of minutes. I really hope we see each other again.
• I grab my purse and head to the ATM to pay the bill.

• On my way to my car, I hear two people arguing in the parking lot. A man and a woman. Unfortunately, I can't see their faces because their backs are turned to me.
• I get into the car and fasten my seat belt. However, I don't start the car, very curious by nature, so I listen to the couple's conversation.
• "But I tell you it's not my fault!"
• shouts the woman.
• "If it's your fault that Maya broke her leg because you were too busy playing with your cell phone instead of taking care of your daughter!".
• What a bitch! She doesn't even know how to take care of her daughter.

• When they turn around and I finally see their faces, I almost fainted, the couple arguing was none other than Melina and Leo!
