Chapter 3

  • Chapter 03
  • I rushed back to the villa. I was devastated, sad but also angry that I had been betrayed after what I had seen and heard today.
  • Leo is not who I thought he was. He has used me! He cheated on me. But how many times? Where? When? And why? I had my doubts when we were together, but now I've seen it all!
  • I was angry with him and with her!
  • Him telling me he only wanted me and blah blah blah! And the other bitch who kept telling me that Leo and her were just friends.
  • Angry, I took the ring off my ring finger and threw it in the trash. I didn't want this engagement ring anymore, it didn't mean anything and never did since she was fucking me all the time. I couldn't believe it.
  • Leo and Melina. Leo and his childhood friend. I had noticed that they were close, really close for just friends. I remember that day too, that day when I started to see doubts about their supposed "friendship". I should never have forgiven her that day, if only I had been smarter and less stupid.
  • *FLASHBACK*
  • I had finished my work earlier, so I decide to surprise Leo, my fiancé.
  • I go to our house and enter quietly, however, I hear voices in the kitchen. My fiancé's and Melina's. What the hell is she doing here? She must have been in Spain as Leo told me. Then why is she here?!
  • "When will we see each other again?" asked Melina.
  • What do you mean "when will we see each other again?"!
  • "I don't know, Melina." Said a deep voice that was none other than that of my fiancé, Leo.
  • I'm listening to their conversation when suddenly, my phone rings. holy cow!
  • "Who is it?" Leo says.
  • I decide to show my face and see Leo's face break down.
  • "Emily?
  • -What's the matter, honey, aren't you glad to see me?
  • -I am, I am, but I thought you'd be back by 10:00.
  • -I finished earlier." I replied coldly
  • My heart sank at the sight of Melina. She was dressed in a simple t-shirt of MY fiancé and the worst part was that she wasn't wearing shorts. she was in panties! Or rather in a thong!
  • "Melina, weren't you supposed to be in Spain, and what the hell are you doing here in MY fiancé's t-shirt and in panties?".
  • She and Leo don't answer me and put their heads down, which pisses me off.
  • "Don't you have a mouth!!! And you fucking piss me off! Fuck you!"
  • I walk out of the house ignoring Leo's screams.
  • *END OF FLASHBACK*
  • I remember very well what Leo told me. The asshole told me he was wearing the shirt because he didn't have a change of clothes. Don't fuck with me. He could have worn my clothes and not walk around in a thong. And he also told me that the reason he didn't go to Spain was because his mother was "indisposed" and he didn't want to leave her alone. Yes, that's right! If she didn't want to leave her alone, why did she go to my husband's house, surely to console herself. Pfff! To console her in bed, yes!
  • I hadn't spoken to Leo for a week, yet I was so in love with him that I had forgiven him and now I truly regretted believing in him and his love. He was pulling my leg from the beginning and that's what really pissed me off. The fact that I believed in his words of love, the fact that I trusted him, makes me angry.
  • Why did I believe in him, why did I fall in love with him?
  • There is only one answer: I was too naive! I believed too much in the fairy tale, in Prince Charming, but fortunately now I have opened my eyes. I have matured.
  • "Are you home, honey?"
  • I gasp and as I turn around I see my grandmother laughing.
  • "You scared me grandma!" I yell, putting a hand to my chest.
  • "This is my revenge for what you did to me yesterday, do you remember, when you came in and screamed your head off?
  • -Yes, I remember, Grandma, you don't need to remind me.
  • -What were you thinking about? she asked.
  • About Leo and Melina.
  • "Nothing." I lied as I sat back in the chair.
  • "Liar."
  • I gasped.
  • "Grandma, I don't want to talk about this now."
  • She nods and looks at me for a few seconds. What the hell is she doing looking at me like that?
  • "What?
  • -What what?
  • -Grandma, you've been staring at me for several minutes without saying anything. What's wrong? Is something wrong?"
  • She nods her head.
  • "You're not going to like it."
  • Oh no! I've had enough, and now she has to add more? Why do I always have bad luck?
  • "What is it that you don't like?
  • -There are people coming to dinner tonight.
  • -Okay, but what's the problem?
  • -Emily, those people are your parents.
  • -WHAT?! I shouted as I stood up
  • Tell me I'm dreaming! How fucking unlucky I am!
  • My parents? Did he say "my parents"?! Tell me I'm dreaming?! Is it a bad news day or what?!
