• I look at the clock for the last time and gasp when I see that Steven hasn't arrived yet. What the hell is he doing?! I've prepared everything for his eighteenth birthday. The cake, the dinner and the decorations. My parents, who are out of town, have let me prepare this birthday party, as they know Steven very well. My father doesn't like him very much, but he makes an effort for me.
• I have been waiting for more than five hours for him. He was supposed to be here at six o'clock in the evening and it's ten o'clock. He doesn't respond to my texts or calls. I hope he didn't have an accident on the road.
