- My wolf panted, saliva dripping as my gums tingled the more I envisioned sinking my teeth into Nathan's throat. My wolf and I accelerated our speed, twisting in between the trees and the rest of the vegetation. Even though my wolf took charge, we thought as one; we were after one thing—Nathan's blood.
- He had no idea what he had coming—a live wire that had just been dipped under water. I imagined tearing him apart, finger by finger, toe by toe. My wolf barked at the idea of piercing his hideous eyes with one of my claws. Small and big animals scattered as our paws came into contact with the ground.
