Chapter 15 Amelia Can Dance?

• Angelica Snyder
• Angelica was sitting in the classroom waiting for the announcement about Sierra High School's homecoming. The event will take place the day after and every class must take part in the performance.
• "Angelica, since you're the monitor, you'll be in charge of the cast list together with the committee member, Ana. Hand in the list to me by Wednesday." Mr. Flores insisted. "Yes, sir," Angelica replied.
• Angelica went to Castor after class. She said, "Castor, would you like to take part in the performances during homecoming? I remembered that you were great at singing and playing the piano. I'm certain that you can get the first prize for our class."
• Angelica had other motives in mind. Castor was well known for his looks and talents. If she could manage to get Castor to play the piano while she sings, everyone would think that they were meant for each other.
• "Alright. I'm in." Castor nodded. Angelica noticed Amelia at the corner of her eye, who had downcast eyes as if it was none of her business. Angelica uttered, "Amelia, ever thought about taking part in the performance as well?"
• Everyone shifted their gaze toward Amelia. "Angelica, how about you? Aren't you great at playing the piano?" Amelia said. "That's right. You should play the piano during the performance," a student added. "I agree. Angelica is a stunner. You'll get a prize even if you just stood there," another student continued.
• Angelica lowered her head in embarrassment. "Aw, you all flatter me. I'm just an ordinary girl, you know." She felt great to be showered with compliments. "Well, we have two performances planned for now. Anyone else wants to show off their talents?" Angelica continued.
• Multiple students approached her to sign up for the performances. Everyone was enthusiastic about homecoming this year. The cast list was swiftly finalized. As Angelica and Ana were about to hand in the cast list, Ana asked, "Angelica, why did you write Amelia's name on the list?"
• Angelica added her name on purpose and planned to push it all on Ana. However, she didn't expect Ana to question her about it." Angelica came up with an excuse and said, "Amelia said she wanted to take part in the performance as well. She's experienced in dancing."
• Ana scratched her head and asked, "Is that so? I never knew that she could dance." Angelica continued, "That's right. I also knew about it just now. Anyway, let's hand in the cast list now."

• I received a message from the hospital stating that my grandmother was not doing well. I insisted my driver take me to the largest private hospital in Sudbury City at once.
• As I arrived at my destination, the doctor from the emergency ward rushed out and said, "Mr. Cohen, Old Mrs. Cohen's condition has worsened. I'm afraid that there's not much that we can do now."
• I frowned and asked, "She was doing fine a few days ago. How did this happen?" The doctor continued, "Mr. Cohen, none of us could be certain of her condition. However, I have a solution in mind."
• "What are you waiting for?" I uttered. "There's a doctor in Sudbury City that's known as Dr. Icy Heart. She performed a similar craniotomy in the past. If you could manage a call out, the success rate of the operation would skyrocket," the doctor said.
• Dr. Icy Heart whom the doctor mentioned is a legend in the medical field. Ever since she performed a craniotomy last year, she had made a name for herself. It would cost a fortune for a call out, few could afford it.
• However, she was also known for her eccentric personality. Money is not the only factor for a call out. I would do anything to get her here!
• I reached for my phone and made a phone call. "Find a doctor named Icy Heart. State that the medical fees provided is 50 million dollars."
