Chapter 73 A Familiar Dream
- It had been about a week since Daniel saw the man with the twin children outside the Natalie Cosmetics store. The image of those two little ones had lingered in his mind, popping up now and then as he went about his daily routine. It wasn’t something he dwelled on consciously, but there was a nagging feeling that he’d seen those children before, though he couldn’t quite place where.
- Daniel’s days had been busy, filled with work and the usual activities that kept him on his toes. Yet, every so often, he’d catch himself thinking about that brief encounter at the stoplight, the innocent faces of the twins, and the warmth of the man who had been with them. It was strange, he thought, how such a fleeting moment could stick with him.
- Life carried on as usual, with Daniel diving into meetings, catching up with friends, and even making time for his regular jogs along the beach. There was always something to do, and for the most part, he kept himself occupied. But even in the midst of all that busyness, the memory of those children stayed with him, like a small, persistent echo at the back of his mind.
