Chapter 99 The brother

• It had been two days since Cilla started training with Brody and it was not sitting well with me. I knew that she wasn’t going to do anything with him. I think I was more annoyed by the fact that she had opted to ask him to train her and not me. I was so much better than Brody in everything. It hurt me that she opted to ask him, as if she trusted him more than me. I tried to distract myself with other things but it was hard to stop thinking about the fact that they were both training together.
• When we were together, everything was mechanical. We did almost everything together and even slept on the same bed but we failed to connect like before. Cilla spent most of her attention on her phone and I ended up doing the same. We were like two strangers living in the same house. Cilla was so depressed that I barely knew what to do with her. I tried to help her but she never seemed receptive or interested in fixing the issues that were bothering us.
