• Although my warriors had strong supernatural powers, they also needed modern weapons. This was because our threats were not always supernatural. Sometimes, we got attacked by humans, and when that happened, we tried as much as possible not to use our supernatural powers in order to avoid exposure.
• Although humans were naturally weak, they had created great weapons that could destroy civilisations within seconds. For centuries, they had been using those weapons against themselves. If they could destroy themselves, they wouldn’t have any mercy for other beings. They had destroyed our kind before, whenever they discovered them.
