Chapter 21 Wanted

• As per Cara’s instructions, I had to stay and keep serving the alpha until he finished his breakfast. As I stood there, I tried to muster up the courage to confront him like I had planned before, but I chickened out every time I tried to open my mouth. I decided to leave it for another time.
• I thought lunch would go as quietly as breakfast had done but I was very wrong. When Cara and I reached the unit, there were two women in the living room. The alpha was nowhere to be seen, but the women seemed quite comfortable. Cara greeted them but they did not bother to reply so we focused on setting the table.
