Chapter 76 Intense

  • The silent treatment had lasted for a few days and it was not about to end, at least not from my side. Ridian had not refused to admit he did anything wrong, and he was still adamant about retaining the pack. Despite knowing that I was not happy about it, he refused to do anything. Camilla had said I was being unreasonable, because this was how things always worked, but I held my ground. I believed that things could change. Although we wolves were naturally territorial creatures that would do whatever possible to gain more control, it didn’t have to be like that. We could tone down that part of us if we choose.
  • I glanced at Ridian who was still sleeping soundly next to me and felt a rush of sensations. Ever since the silent treatment started, he had not touched me and it was killing me. Being with him on the same bed was torture. All my body wanted was for him to wrap his large arms around me but my mind was saying something else. I had to be strong. I knew he was suffering as well, and I wanted him to suffer until he caved in.
