Chapter 73 Not giving up

• Jane’s POV
• The sun was shining bright when I gathered some of my things and placed them in a bag, before quietly moving out. I knew I wasn’t welcome anymore, not after what I had just done to Ridian. I had spilled his secret to his wife and I knew he was not going to be happy about it. If he found out I was the one who had blabbed, he would come for me and make sure I never saw the light of day. I wasn’t going to wait for that to happen like I was a fool.
• I couldn’t stay there any longer. I had to look for a place where I could start over. I needed to speak to someone who hated Ridian, and there was one person I was sure did. Alpha Aragon of the moonshine pack may have been vanquished but I was pretty sure he was planning revenge. No werewolf would let themselves be defeated and do nothing. They’d rather die trying. It was better than having to live under another alpha. Whoever this man was, I was sure he would appreciate my services. All I needed was for him to find me a place to live in another pack that had not pledged allegiance to Ridian Jamison.
