Chapter 52

• Angel's communications kills have been improving greatly as days go by , she has also realized that she likes the sound of her laughter , so she laughs more. She is very grateful to Raymond for being of great help to her, a few days later in the afternoon , Angel is reading a book about motherhood and she is reading it out loud , when doctor Raymond comes in, he finds her amusing , enjoying her own voice was really funny and understandable at the same time. He gets in chuckling and then Angel realizes that it was her habit that is making him laugh, so she joins in the laughter and laughs at herself, again.
• What she doesn't know is that every time she laughs a glint of pain appears on the doctors eyes which he successfully hides all the time. They chat for a while then Angel realizes that something is bothering the old man , out of genuine concern , he asks what he is thinking about . Doctor Raymond is silent for about five minutes which seems like hours of waiting to Angel , finally , he clears his throat and began talking , you know my daughter i am going to tell you a story of mine , in fact your beautiful laughter brings back the memories of my late wife , she used to laugh exactly the same way you are laughing , it was beautiful and infectious , we laughed together almost every day until she was no more.
