Chapter 43

• The queen has been knocking at Maxwell's gate for hours but no one is opening the gate , Maxwell had instructed the guards that if in any case they open the gate for anyone related to him they should consider themselves dead. No one wishes death for themselves , it would have been considered a joke if it was said by someone else but not the boss they know , all they know is that he means what he says and now that he's mad , they dare not try anything stupid , so they have been playing dumb all the time as if no one is in the compound , no one has spoken since the queen started knocking.
• Heavy rains starts to fall , Maxwell is upstairs watching everything through the window, he has been staring at his mother all through wondering if the woman was his real mother, he's so bitter with her to have pity even when the rain falls , the queen is confused , even though she's remorseful , she is not stupid enough to catch the cold standing out there for the whole day, she tries calling Stacy but the call doesn't go through, she turns back and leaves the place , she doesn't know what to do next , it isn't as if she knows where to find Angel , the last time she was missing her parents brought a lot of trouble and now she can't inform them again , she has to keep looking but she doesn't know where to go , she silently goes to the hotel room she will be staying for the time being . She later calls Stacy asking of Angel but is frustrated since they were not close so she would not possibly know where Angel is. She tries to ask where they found her the last time and she was instructed to the orphanage in the remote village where Angel had stayed while pregnant till she gave birth, to her disappointment the manager told her that Angel had not returned to the place since she left. Devastated she went back to the city , the whole exercise is so stressful, she now begins to feel what her son was going through looking for Angel .
