• I think Nikolay was more at ease than usual with this whole scene, and even though this whole wedding was supposed to be a sham planned to make the money go bad for the Russian, I had bought into the whole show, because yes, I loved Nikolay with all my soul. I hadn't wanted to give myself to him so much, but I had done it anyway.
