Chapter 133 Madam Meeting

  • Refusing to use that bathroom, I patiently awaited our return to the house. Queenie had already prepared my breakfast and was sitting in the living room upon our arrival. She briefly met our gaze but looked away when Paul's eyes fixed on her. I couldn't shake the feeling that a snide comment was lurking beneath the surface.
  • At last, the chance to take a shower presented itself, and I hesitated before stepping in. As I opened the door, the steam began to cloud my face, a chilling reminder of Andrés' last appearance. Paul noticed my apprehension as he reached out to test the water, his puzzled expression reflecting my unease. With his presence as my motivator, I tried to wash away the unpleasant memories.
