Chapter 85 Monsters In Flesh
- Willow's POV
- When I stirred awake, the world felt cold, still, and wrong. My head throbbed with a dull ache, and my limbs felt heavier than lead. I blinked into the darkness, trying to make sense of my surroundings, but the room offered no answers. I couldn't make out even the time of the day or night because everything was pitch black.
- The last thing I remembered was standing in Kingston’s house with the triplets, everyone tense as we tried to piece together what had happened to the rogue’s body. Then, like a thread snapping, everything had gone dark. I had not even seen what took me, all I had felt was a sharp and piercing pain, ripping right through my chest.
