• I woke slowly, the weight of the world lifting from me as I blinked open my eyes. Except...these weren’t my eyes. They were sharper, keener. The colors around me were dazzling, the world a canvas of ethereal light and shifting hues. Streaks of gold, blue, and lavender rippled through the air, blending into shapes and patterns that seemed alive.
• I tried to move and realized I wasn’t in my human form. My paws pressed against the soft ground beneath me, my silver fur shimmering like liquid moonlight.
