- The morning sun filtered softly through the curtains, casting a warm golden glow across the room. I sat up slowly, the remnants of the night’s exhaustion still pulling at my bones. My mind raced with the fragments of memories, moments that I had yet to fully comprehend. Where was I? How had I ended up here?
